I have many many moms come to me when their baby is about 6-8 months old and do a portrait session. Then they want to hire me for their child’s birthday, but feel that they just spent for a full session just a few months ago. Or, families do a session in the summer but want to come back and do holiday portraits just a few months later. I finally (after many requests) have added the option to reserve a second portrait session within a 6 month period of their original at a 40% savings off the creation fee. I know. I am nuts. Know that this may change at any time.
YES call me crazy. But I love having my repeat clients continue to come back to me and this helps you save a little! Prints and products are all at the regular prices. No additional discount (military, teacher, law enforcement) will be applied to the second creation fee, and it is not applicable with any other promo’s.

May Baby Promo- San Diego Newborn and Baby Photographer

The Watch Me Grow program is one of my most popular selections for expectant moms who call me for a newborn or maternity session. I document the babies first year from birth to 12 months (you can add on maternity at a discounted price.) All the sessions are in the studio (except maternity) and have numerous benefits to being in the package. Please give me a call or use the inquire button to get more info (I don’t have the pricing available via email but I go over it all with you on the phone.)

Bonus for those of you who would like to schedule the year: Book your watch me grow package by June 1 and you will receive a complimentary 10×20 storyboard, which can be used either for one session or at the end of the year with a print from each session. If you would rather add on an on-location maternity session, you can do that instead.

Remember I book up very quick and can not do typical newborn sessions beyond the 2 week mark (I can photograph them, just not in the same posing as newbies.)

Now that I have a studio space again with WONDERFUL natural light, I am switching all of my newborn sessions to be in-studio vs on-locations. This is awesome because you will have MUCH more options with props, hats, etc because I won’t have to bring it all to your house. On-location can still be added though, no worries! My question to you is this….

Do you like the idea of offering the Watch Me Grow packages (documenting the first year) to be in-studio with the option to be on-location? The pricing for the packages will be a little less for them to be in-studio vs all-on-location…

Please let me know as your opinion definitely matters! Thanks SO much! Please share with your friends!

Mazel Tov, Elijah! – San Diego Photographer

Elijah celebrated became a Bar Mitzvah last month, and I was so honored to be able to photograph the family portraits and a little in the synagogue. Aren’t they a beautiful family? I am so happy I was able to get portraits of his grandparents with him… he is so lucky they were able to share his day with him. Callie’s Birthday Party- San Diego Child & Family Photographer

Sweet little Callie is now one! I loved capturing her birthday party…minus the rain, everything was so so so beautiful. You can tell her mommy is a very creative and crafty pinterest lover I am still pushing her to open her own party planning business. And she bakes. Not just bakes but BAKES. Like the most DELICIOUS and ADORABLE cookies and cupcakes. Anyway, Caliie was loving her party– especially when she did her cake smash She REFUSED to touch the cake with her hands and just wanted to take bites from the cake. It was beyond adorable.

The Pachoe Family- San Diego Family Photographer

I absolutely LOVE how these portraits came out of the Pachoe family. They are seriously a model family…they totally know how to work the camera. We did their session down at Petco Park on a foggy afternoon but I worked my reflector like you wouldn’t believe. If you aren’t using a reflector on your sessions in foggy days you seriously should just try…makes SUCH a big difference!

A peek at one of our albums- San Diego Family Photographer

One of the top albums is the Hungtington fine art album. If you have seen it in person you know exactly why it’s so stunning. The paper is absolutely beautiful…the pages all have a white 1″ trim around the edges and the printing is just delicious. This particular sample I ordered of a family has the brown leather upgrade and all of these albums come with an image cut out in the front.

This is definitely not a cheapie album–but do you really expect to or something that’s cheap to last 100+ years? You want to pass this down to your kids & grandkids and the quality of these babies will definitely do that.

I have the same album available (a little less in cost) with image paper vs the fine art which is equally as beautiful! Product shots coming for those!

Welcome baby Luke – San Diego Newborn Baby Photographer

Oh sweet Luke! I am SO excited to be able to document this cutie pie’s first year. He was one of the *easiest* babies I have photographed as he slept almost the WHOLE time (except when he pooped ALL OVER mom, then peed on dad and his sister) but everyone (even sister) just went with the flow (no pun intended.)

How adorable is the tie I just got?! SO cute. Luke is very lucky to be born into such a wonderful family

We now have a retail location again! – La Mesa Photographer

I can *finally* let the cat out of the bag…I am back to having a physical retail location (still in La Mesa) to do sessions at! I am only there by appointment for sessions, and I am still continuing my in-home ordering sessions and consults.

You now have the option for in-studio single subject sessions (babies, headshots,smash the cake etc), in-studio portraits for small families & boudoir/glamour, and as always on-location portraits. Pricing for sessions has shifted a little, so make sure to contact me to get the new 411

For the next few weeks, I will be making the space beautiful– new flooring and paint… then we are good to go! Are you as excited as ME?!

Annual Mothers Day Portraits – San Diego Family Photographer

Every year, I host a Mothers Day portrait session for my clients. I think there’s nothing better then making sure in 20 years your children have a portrait with YOU to hold onto. These sessions can be for a generational portrait, a mom with her family, a maternity portrait, someone who is like your mother etc. Celebrate the relationships that are important to you.

Sessions will be on-location in San Diego on Saturday, May 12th, 2012. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, I will change the location to be indoor studio studio shots. Sessions include up to 5 subjects, about 20 minutes of shooting, and online ordering. You also will receive 15% off prints and products (I will email you a product price list once you contact me–it’s my regular portrait session price list) and also a 5×7 art print with any product order. Anything you order will also go online digitally so you can share on facebook & your social media sites.
