I know… they seriously just got out of school it seems (although many of you moms might be counting down the days until they head back to school…) but here in San Diego–kids go back to school around the end of August… that’s around the corner! You know those boring school portraits you get at school? Why not do a fun back to school session where you will receive special discounted mini-session pricing and (2) 5×7 prints? It’s way cute for those kidlets starting kindergarten too! The cost is $75+tax (normally that’s the cost for prints!) and you must pay $20 of the session fee when reserving your spot.

Please keep in mind this is geared toward kids 3 1/2ish- 10ish. Each additional child is $15. Sessions are best done as a single subject.

My niece, Maddie came to visit this week and I was so exited to do some shots of her in my studio in downtown La Mesa! Of course my parents wanted some pictures of her and also my little Lilly. I can’t believe Maddie is turning 7 next week… it feels like she was just born!

I can’t wait until my older niece comes to visit at the end of the month and I get to do more pictures of the three girls together!

PS… the girls are wearing their new Stella and Dot headbands from the little girls line! Aren’t they so cute?!!

Here’s ONE of the big announcements you have been waiting for! I have added In-Studio sessions!

I am of course offering on-location sessions still.. those are my pride and joy! These in-studio sessions are going to take place in my studio in downtown La Mesa and are available by appointment only. These are for newborn sessions, Watch Me Grow (year of picture) packages, babies, toddlers, cake sessions, kids, and headshots. Know that I can not do a family larger then 3– 4 is the absolute MAX I can shoot in the studio. Doing your family session in studio is COMPLETELY different then on-location… you aren’t really focused on “interacting” as much as you are with the on-location sessions.

The same product pricing remains in affect (available at your consultation) but the creation fee is $250 for in-studio. This is $100 less then on-location. No worries about weather, wind, the sun etc. This is *introductory* pricing and can change at any time.

As a promotion, reserve your session in the studio and receive 10% off your creation fee! You *must* book by June 30!

If you guessed the new baby sibling for Maggie & Carson was a girl you were right! Little Eleanor was born a few weeks ago and is just too cute! It was a pretty rainy day so we couldn’t go outside and do the big family shots, but we were able to take advantage of the nice natural light coming into their home. I can’t wait to see her grow this year and photograph her stages!

It’s here! Father’s Day is RIGHT around the corner! I am happy to announce “Daddy’s Little Boo” mini-sessions for Father’s Day to take place May 26th here at the studio! You can have your session indoors or outdoors at the brick wall (just let me know when you book)

Little Brooklyn is now 6 months old (remember her newborn session?) and we did her 6 month pictures as her Valentines mini-session here in the studio and omg– can you say cuteness? She is so yummy!

I can’t wait to see how her custom frame looks when it’s delivered soon!

Ashleigh and Shawn are so hilarious– we had SO much fun doing their on-location portrait session walking around Coronado Island! This brother and sister duo decided to hire me to photograph them for their mother’s Christmas gift and I don’t think there was more then 2 minutes where we weren’t cracking up laughing over SOMETHING!

Little miss Charlie is one of the most beautiful baby girls I have met. I photographed her parent’s wedding (remember the fun shoes? You can see it here) and I was SO happy for them when I heard they were expecting. Charlie is so lucky to have such wonderful parents…they are so sweet. Meet the Stenehjem Family– I did their on-location portrait session at Balboa Park and little miss A was so adorable. She had a lot of fun running around and jumping up and down and then just being a silly girl. Her big red curls are so beautiful!
