Michael & Michelle’s vow renewal was one of the most genuinely sweet things I have seen a daughter do for her parents. Melissa and I go pretty far back, and I was more then honored when she called me to photograph her parents SURPRISE vow renewal for her parents. The event was at the beautiful Hacienda Club in La Habra and guests enjoyed music by Afterburn Productions (they were really good). Michelle was thinking when she entered that she was heading to a Man of the Year award ceremony and because she was running late they played a trick on her by pointing her out when she walked in… hence her “hello! I’m here! Haha!” when she first walked in… then she realized she was NOT at a man of the year award ceremony! Her reaction was priceless.

The love between Michael and Michelle is so sweet and I couldn’t help but just see myself and my husband in 25 more years of marriage being as happy as they were.

Remember the totally fun engagement session I did of Stefanie and Hayik at Balboa Park and also at the beautiful flower field? They were married September 26th at USD Immaculata and it was so beautiful. They both just looked so happy and had so much fun at their reception at the Crystal Ballroom in El Cajon.

I title this Lucky for two reasons. One, it was their first dance (Jason Mraz). The other reason is these two are so perfect for each other it’s amazing. You can tell how they interact with each other that they are definitely meant to be together. I have known Marlo since about 1998 (ish) and my mom has known Michael’s family since they were very young. (It’s a small world!). Anyway…I was honored when asked to photograph their beautiful wedding July 12th at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse. Everything was perfect about the day (except the heat–it was HOT!).

I photographed Crystal and Daryl’s wedding April 18th at the La Mesa Community Center and had a great time. Crystal looked beautiful in her mermaid style dress and her makeup was amazing! I wish them a happy marriage and look forward to a family session down the road!

WOW… this wedding was so beautiful. Sam was referred to me by a friend of mine from college (thanks, Sarah!) and she was the most easy going bride ever. Mark and Sam got married at The Crossings in Carlsbad and it’s a BEAUTIFUL golf course. I can’t even tell you how gorgeous this venue is! I had fun riding super fast in a golf cart ahead of Mark and Sam while holding a 70-200mm lens (it’s heavy) and also holding onto the cart so I didn’t fall out…I’m proud of myself for not falling out   The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so fun!
