Ann and Joshua got married July 18th on Camp Pendleton at The Ranch House. It’s a nice little historic place for a wedding I tell you… so much green and a LOT of places to shoot! The wedding was beautiful and the reception was way fun…like WAY fun.

Thank you Ann & Josh! So nice working with you and I hope you have a happy marriage and lots of babies
I title this Lucky for two reasons. One, it was their first dance (Jason Mraz). The other reason is these two are so perfect for each other it’s amazing. You can tell how they interact with each other that they are definitely meant to be together. I have known Marlo since about 1998 (ish) and my mom has known Michael’s family since they were very young. (It’s a small world!). Anyway…I was honored when asked to photograph their beautiful wedding July 12th at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse. Everything was perfect about the day (except the heat–it was HOT!).
Here are the wonderful vendors who made this day possible…

Their beautiful rings: (I’m loving my new macro lens!)
The flowers were just beautiful… great for summer and a nice change from all roses!
See what happens when you tell the groomsmen to make the groom embarrassed?
One of my favorites–right before walking out to go down the isle… Marlo takes a deep breath….
I love the emotion–and mom & dad in the back…
And the garter….One of my fav’s…
One of my favorite garter shots…. SO funny… Just follow the garter and look at the men…
Thank you, Marlo & Michael for allowing me to be apart of the birth of your new family…. I hope you have an amazing 3 years out of the country and can’t wait to see you when you get back and hopefully photograph the georgeous children you both will have
I photographed Crystal and Daryl’s wedding April 18th at the La Mesa Community Center and had a great time. Crystal looked beautiful in her mermaid style dress and her makeup was amazing! I wish them a happy marriage and look forward to a family session down the road!

You might remember Josh and Lara’s wedding we shot last year (see HERE)…well they had me photograph their adorable family as Corinne is almost one! I can’t believe how fast time FLIES! Corinne was SUCH a tropper as we kept moving around through balboa park and put her in the infamous tutu! Hit play to watch the slideshow below then enjoy some pictures
WOW… this wedding was so beautiful. Sam was referred to me by a friend of mine from college (thanks, Sarah!) and she was the most easy going bride ever. Mark and Sam got married at The Crossings in Carlsbad and it’s a BEAUTIFUL golf course. I can’t even tell you how gorgeous this venue is! I had fun riding super fast in a golf cart ahead of Mark and Sam while holding a 70-200mm lens (it’s heavy) and also holding onto the cart so I didn’t fall out…I’m proud of myself for not falling out The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so fun! Guests who want to log into view and order pictures can go back to www.stillsbyhill.com then click “log in to view wedding proofs” type in your email address and the password of Sam’s maiden name

We photographed Shannon and Gary’s wedding at Marina Village in January. It was our 1st wedding back since having our child (and of 2009) and I must say–I enjoy photographing weddings more now that I am not pregnant anymore! It was very hard for a while. Anyway…Shannon looked stunning, Gary radiated love toward her, and everyone had a wonderful time.
I am loving this new blog since I can have my images ginormous now!
Enjoy the slideshow and pictures. Those of you wanting to see all of them and order online, go back to www.stillsbyhill.com then click “wedding proofs” and type in the password of shannon’s maiden name

Congrats Shannon and Gary… we wish you lots of happiness, love and many babies
You might remember the Paddocks from back in June when I did Sarah’s maternity pictures. Then Lizzie was born ittie bittie and I took some pictures in the nicu. Well look at the love bug now.. 6 months old, sitting up, eating solids… big girl! We had a great time with the pictures. Lizzie is a trooper.. letting me put the petticoat, tutu and hat on her–sat her on the grass at the park…I think she was a bit confused at this big black thing in her face all afternoon!

Lizzie loves her big “sister” Lainie So cute!
Apparently not so much…
I absolutely love this picture of dad, Lizzie and mommy’s feet. so cute!
I’ve noticed all babies love their changing table….and being naked on them!
I photographed the Robertsons a few weeks ago and they are such a nice family! We had fun (and I was super cold) running around Presidio Park with their dog, Misty. They wanted to do a family session with their dog who is getting really old and I’m happy to have given them memories they will hold onto for a long time!

I LOVE the lighting here… it was such a perfect morning for the sunlight!
I had such a fun time (and challenging) photographing baby E, baby M and little A! A set of 1 year old twins and a 4 year old who is a little ham is a challenge but that’s why I love what I do. Enjoy the slide show then see the picture You can leave comments below by clicking “comments”
Even though I was 38 weeks pregnant, I still wanted to work! A newborn is my favorite type of session and when I heard miss Ruby wanted her pictures done I was more then happy to go do them! She’s such a little cutie!
