Mothers Day Tea & Trinkets – La Mesa Photographer

Here it is! I have updated the event to reflect what will be on display!

Tuesday, May 11th from 10am until 12:30 or so at the studio, 4711 Third St. 91941. There are meters out front to park at, or just go up Third or Fourth street past Lemon for un-metered free parking.

Have you seen Stella & Dot before?! Their stuff is amazing. I have a lot of friends who sell it and I was so excited when Melissa asked to combine the jewelery display & sale along with my mothers day event!

There’s a TOTALLY cute new line that is out with little girls’ items and I can’t WAIT to get some for my Lilly! Maybe even for my nieces too :)

So now, you can not only relax, enjoy the studio & some snacks, but you can also shop for some beautiful jewelery :)

**If you are not a mom you are still MORE then welcome to come!**

Remember for every friend you bring, you will be entered into a drawing for a free bracelet & another person will win a discount for their portrait session :)

But wait… there’s more (not to sound cheesy)…

When you schedule your portrait consultation while you are at the event for another day, you will receive a discount on your portrait session :)

You can see the evite HERE and add yourself to it. If you have problems, please let me know and I can add you. You can also click on the image to go to the RSVP.

Happy 65th Anniversary of Liberation! – San Diego Photographer

There’s a club here in San Diego (not sure if it’s other places too?) called the New Life Club which is a group of local Holocaust survivors and their families. I was asked by them to photograph their anniversary dinner of the 65th anniversary and it was so amazing to see so many people there who have lived through SUCH history! The stories these people have to tell is just amazing and I was honored to meet (again) David Faber who wrote an amazing book I got while I was in high school about his story. The event was put on by the group along with Gussie Zaks (she and her late husband, Mike Zaks, were also in the holocaust) and I loved meeting everyone!

Getting all the survivors together for a picture was sure a treat… so there’s a first generation picture and a second generation :)

Mazel Tov on the 65th anniversary!

Those of you who would like to log in to view all images and order what you wish, please go HERE and log into the gallery. Thank you.

Baby Cline is coming! – San Diego Maternity Photographer

Well, I should title it “Baby Cline has arrived” but, since I did this session before they even knew what they were having I should title it appropriately :)

The Cline’s are one of the families who have been with me from the beginning and I love photographing them! When I saw Monica one day and she said “I’m pregnant!” I was beyond excited! Another little Cline to photograph! I mean– with these cute kids could it NOT be fun photographing them? We did their maternity photo session/family session at Wind & Sea beach in La Jolla and I LOVE how these came out!

Coming soon– their newborn session of the baby. Want to guess if they had a boy or girl?

Come celebrate Mom’s May 11th – San Diego Family Photographer

You are a mom. You work HARD. You get little sleep, little time for yourself and spend your “free time” wondering what “free time” even is anymore. This will be my 2nd Mothers Day and I am so thankful :) I am having a little tea party here in the studio for moms to come enjoy themselves from 10am until 12pm on Tuesday, May 11th. There’s no cost and I have a play room for kids to play in while you enjoy your tea.

Please feel free to bring a friend or two!

If you book your consultation while you are here, you will receive a complimentary print with your paid session :)

Yes, it is a free event, but I do need you to still RSVP. You can email me at hillary@stillsbyhill.com, tweet me @stillsbyhill , or RSVP on the facebook fan page by May 9th.

HUGE wall frame sale- La Mesa Photographer

I have some BEAUTIFUL, high end, hand-made custom frames in the studio available for SALE! I *never* sell stuff in stock since everything is custom made, however I have been having a lot of people ask about my O frames and I am happy to offer them at a HUGE discount since I am making room for new goodies!

If you like, you can come into the studio and see them (call first to make sure I am here 619-466-9918). You can purchase the frame alone, or you can order one of your images in it from your session at another discount (that takes about a week).

These are SUCH unique frames that are not really offered here in San Diego and everyone raves about them when they come into the studio! Hand crafted, shabby chic, vintage AND elegant… seriously delicious!

A whole lot of cuteness- San Diego Children’s Photographer

Meet little A & E. They are both SO adorable! I went and did their on-location portrait session in their home (my favorite place for sessions) and we had so much fun! A was so mello and just went with the flow! E was shy at first but then was my new best friend when I left. I mean seriously– they are SO adorable!
