That’s right, Liam and Juliet finally came home from the hospital after arriving a tad early and had me over for their photo session They are just as sweet as can be and I can’t get over how well they are doing for being born so early!

Abby is being a fantastic big sister…except when I asked her how she is at changing diapers she told me that’s mom & dad’s job….ya… good response

Today is my mom’s birthday…

She’s spending the day doing what she is best at–being a grandma to all 3 of her grand daughters

A picture at her best friend’s wedding (which was my very first wedding I shot on my own) back in 2007

I title this Lucky for two reasons. One, it was their first dance (Jason Mraz). The other reason is these two are so perfect for each other it’s amazing. You can tell how they interact with each other that they are definitely meant to be together. I have known Marlo since about 1998 (ish) and my mom has known Michael’s family since they were very young. (It’s a small world!). Anyway…I was honored when asked to photograph their beautiful wedding July 12th at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse. Everything was perfect about the day (except the heat–it was HOT!).

Yes… They are THAT cute… just wait

I first photographed these kids when little M. was a few months old way back when I started the business… she’s now this vibrant big girl who just makes you smile. Her brother is a tad more shy (but oh-so-cute), but I was able to get the real personality to pop out… I have a tendency to do that with children Maybe that’s why children are my specialty…hmm. This was their family session that we did bright and early in the morning. Yes, kids are much better in the morning sessions then afternoons!

Isn’t this so sweet? I just love it….

He was really trying to giver her a big hug and mom and dad kept saying ‘gentle’ but I knew it would come out SO cute…

This makes me think she’s saying “oh heck ya!”

When I told them to make a silly face, mom apparently thought it meant show dad her teeth, M thought it meant stretch her mouth as far as it can go, and C just went along with it. Dad just was having none of that…

….and M still is pulling those lips off… SO funny!
