Babies Feet

OH how I love baby feet! I can’t wait until my little one comes and I can have 500 pictures (jk) of my own babies feet all over the walls.

I thought I would repost a super cute baby foot shot I did a little while ago :)

Keep and eye out tomorrow–I will be posting some studio changes and also on the website :)

Our flushmount Albums

This is a sample of the flush-mount albums that are included in the top wedding package but in 12×12 (this is 9×12).  The pages are thick and it’s a beautiful album we are proud to offer!  Of course we can do smaller versions for family sessions if you wish.

Our bordered print album…

ONE of the albums we are offering is our bordered print album. It is super fun, has many cover options, and has animal friendly materials!  This is the album included with the boudoir/intimate session package and a different size is included in  two of the wedding packages.

This one is of my children’s work and is on display in the studio!

Another reminder….last chance!

The Intimate Sessions at the hotel are booking up. I have ONE spot left! ONE!
Here’s a reminder:

Your rockin hotel boudoir session includes an hour with the talented photographer (me!) and you get to feel beautiful.  YOU will receive a beautiful 5×7 album (I sell them for $225 normally) with 20 of your prints (you choose) for the one you love. Getting married? This is a perfect gift for your financee.  Want to give your husband a great gift? Here you go!  I have samples on the blog… simply go to the right where it says “intimates” and click there. Scroll down to Theresa and Nina’s session. When you get there you have to expand the post. Once you open it you see the sample images.   Note because of privacy, I can not post too many pictures on here.

I have to do a cut off of a week from yesterday, so after Monday April 28th, you won’t be able to sign up!

The fee for this session is $295. Note I will be doing it again in September but the price will be much higher.

We’re helping save the environment…

small_butterfly.jpg

I consider myself green. I can be more green, but I am doing my part. I drive a hybrid vehicle. I use reusable bags at the grocery store, department stores and anywhere I can remember to bring the bag into. I try to buy things with less packaging so there’s less waste. I use 7th Generation laundry detergent and fabric softener. With the baby we plan to use 7th generation diapers, buy as little non-environmentally friendly plastics as possible.

For the business, we have cut back on a lot of the waste. There are no longer paper proofs, proof books (except weddings if requested) and unnecessary handouts. HOW are we changing out packaging? Currently we use really cute orange and blue tissue paper, pretty ribbons and gift boxes to wrap your art in. Guess what’s coming soon?

REUASBLE CANVAS BAGS! We are so excited about this. Simply bring home your prints in the bag (they’ll be protected) then for your next session, bring me your bag and I will reuse it for your next print order :) HOW cool is this? Look for it in the next few months!

Don’t think it’s necessary? Check these facts out:

Borrowed from http://reusablebags.wordpress.com

1) A Plastic bag takes 450 years to biodegrade.

2) The production of Paper bags causes 70% more pollution than Plastic.

3) When Plastic “photo degrades” it ends up in our oceans. Incidentally, it appears much like a plankton, and is then consumed by fish. Fish eat it, and it winds up on your dinner table.

4) The recipe for making paper bags starts with 1 part pulp, 400 parts WATER.

5) The recycling of plastic emits heavy metals into the air causing extreme air pollution.

6) An average person will use over 350 bags in a single year!

7) In New York City, one less grocery bag per person would reduce waste by 5 million pounds and save $250,000 in disposal costs. 8) In 1999 more than 14 million trees were cut down to produce 10 billion paper bags that were used by Americans that year.

9) Reusable bags save 700+ bags over the span of their lifetime!

10) if we spread the word about the importance of reusing our grocery bags, work together, and somehow this movement catches on, the end up benefit to the Earth is going to be huge! We are talking millions of gallons of fresh water saved, millions of gallons of fuel saved, and hundreds of thousands of acres of forest land saved every year!

Baby Josh at 4 months!

Sorry about the wait! With three days straight of shooting, and feeling a little pregnant, I have been moving as fast as I can! Antici-PATION! (*Rocky Horror Picture show reference)

Anyway… Josh has gotten so big and is too cute for works. You may remember him as being the famous “baby on the sofa” image I use on everything!

I can’t wait for the 8 month session to see how big he gets!
