A note on ONE birthing option

So I know natural birth isn’t for everyone and people have their views, but we are choosing to go natural for many reasons. We are doing the Bradley Method and I think it will be really good for us. I wanted to share the link to the Bradley instructor whos classes we are in the middle of doing. If you are at all interested, check out Educate Your Birth and contact Kyla and Joel for class information. Even if you think you HAVE to go medicated at the hospital because you don’t handle pain well, just give it a shot and read their birth stories on the blog. They will answer any questions you have, and also you can go to a sneak peak type of class which I did and loved it.
Ok I’ll get off my soap box but I’ve told so many of you about the classes I figured I would share the link!

I TOTALLY AGREE!! I was pushed into having pain killers, and my daughter ended up in NICU because she was too doped up to cry and expel all the gunk in her lungs. I am totally going to try going natural next time.

I agree… I shot a live birth just last month and the mother did it 100% natural. It was amazing. No screaming no threatening to kill her husband, during her most intense contractions she would constantly say “I love this baby so much.” It was such a beautiful experience. I was so moved. She delivered a healthy beautiful 8lb 7oz baby boy and ate Chick Fil A about an hour later. I’ve always said I will go natural and watching that birth only reaffirmed it. You can see a slideshow in my blog: http://www.ladolceblog.com/2008/08/baby-andrews-arrival.html

Granted all the “personal” shots are not in the slideshow but you can get a good feel of everything. She only pushed for 10 minutes and that little guy was out of there! 🙂

You’ll do great too I know it!! 😀
